Holding Kennel
Over the last year and half we have made a few changes to the Holding Kennels located over on South Mountain Rd.
Rotary donated monies for the new fencing to go on the holding kennels.
The Boro of Emporium donated the old fencing from the flooding project on Plant Road Hollow.
Fundraising monies from all the CC SPCA members bought the liner and gravel to be placed down to meet state requirements for a kennel.
The place has since then been painted inside and out, new locks placed on the kennel doors for easier access for letting the dogs out into the gravel. A storage shed was purchased through the CC SPCA members fundraising monies and also by Robert Yahnite donating the other half of the money so we could purchase the shed.
GE Motor Coils of Emporium had a sandwhich sale for the CC SPCA which pulled in $1600.00 which that will cover the cement and other materials when the back addition to the holding kennel gets put on later in the fall.
